TOE NAIL FUNGUS – is one of
the common diseases.
Naturally, “onychomycosis” has
been highly related with some different kinds of abnormal signs and
symptoms. Onychomycosis has been also
called as toenail fungus. The main symptoms
of toenail fungus have been highly based on cosmetic appearance. Usually such symptoms will appear without
remarkable pain or any kind of discomfort.
Also these kinds of symptoms and signs will be highly dependable on own
subtype of toenail fungus and its progress in growth.
In the beginning stage, in “Distal
Lateral Subungual Onychomycosis”, (DLSO), it will start to emerge any toe nail
as very thick and cloudy in nature. Then gradually such affected nail will
begin to thicken and harden slowly.
Finally, such hardened and thickened nail will automatically be
separated from the nail bed.
Additionally, the natural color of such affected nail will also be
changed especially from its natural white color to brown color. Besides, the
nail edge will also be changed as so brittle or worn out.
Even though the same infection
process happens with “Endonyx Onychomycosis”, (EO) as it happens in DLSO, the
main distinctive symptom or change occurs here is the natural color of nail
will change into milky white abnormally. But the nail bed will not become so
thickened or hardened. As result of this
process, the nail will not be separated from its own nail bed also.
If you analyze “Proximal Subungual
Onychomycosis”, (PSO), some distinctive signs such as white spotting, streaking
or discoloration will appear at the fold of hard skin in the beginning. Also
such changes will extend beyond the base and side of the toenail that is in the
nail fold. Then this will gradually
saturate the entire nail. The
discoloration of affected area of such nail will be more or less similar to the
cuticle. But at the same time, the rest
of the nail will sustain its own color normally.
In the problem of “White Superficial
Onychomycosis”, (WSO), usually the nail will become so rough to feel and it
will deteriorate and fall down easily. Besides, some kind of small white
patches will appear on the entire surface of particular nail and such white
patches will be dotted or powdery in appearance.
Normally toenail fungus is a
kind of infection and it has been caused by particularly yeast infections.
Suppose if such kind of yeast infections has become a chronic infection of the
mucous membrane and skin, then the entire nail will become infected and as a
result, the entire surface of an affected nail will become so thickened and
hardened. Finally, it will be caused for
a type of nail bed inflammation visibly and the ends for the toes will become
rounded.
Another type of similar infection called “Dystrophic Onychomycosis” is also a severe form of infection and it has been considered as a sub type of the same toenail fungus. Resembling nails as yellow or brown or opaque color and becoming thickened are its main symptoms.
Perhaps, if this kind of infection has been progressed to an advanced state, finally you cannot walk or stand for a longer period due to the change of thickened or vague toenails abnormally. Also when you walk or sit, you will have to feel a kind of tingling or creeping sensation called "parathesia". Apart from all these signs, a kind of foul odor also will come out from the infected area undoubtedly. Then gradually some sort of discomfort or pain will appear and your nimbleness will be affected. Majority people will feel a kind of severe emotional distress due these kinds of negative medical symptoms just like awkwardness and loss of self respect.
Suppose if you are a diabetic patient or if you are in autoimmune condition, then the fungi will automatically spread and produce severe infections in all other areas of your body. Especially if you are diabetic patient, due to these kinds of poor blood circulation and toenail fungus, it will resist the normal circulation of blood to nerves in your feet. So it is always better to approach any physician for immediate medical care just to prevent toenail fungus. Then only you can cease the same before it becomes as a serious complication.

Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
