You may know something about a fruit smoothie. You may know about a diet shake. But what are green smoothies? Do you know about this? A green smoothie is a kind of natural diet shake. They are sweet in taste. It looks creamy and scrumptious. They are highly nutritious in fact. A green smoothie has been simply prepared by fruits and vegetable. It is also highly rich in having an abundance of vitamin A, C and K. Also it is providing a higher range of essential amino acids (Protein). Moreover, if you consume more quantity of fruits and vegetables, then automatically you will feel more hunger than usual. But these types of smoothies are regarded as convenient as diet shakes. So you can take one fresh dose in the daily mornings and also it is better to sip when you are doing your duty. Also it is advisable to you to take your smoothie in a chilled thermos to consume with snack instead of fast meal replacement.
Actually the best green smoothie is contained with sufficient quantity of water, soy or almond milk or a splash of grapefruit, line or lemon juice. But since using liquid is added with sugar, if you want to keep your intake calories down, it is better to avoid using liquids. Suppose if you want to have your smoothies so thicker, you can add frozen ingredients such as ice cubes or frozen juice cubes or frozen chunks of fruit. Making smoothie with frozen banana will change your smoothie a creamy consistency as your favorite fast food shake. Usually green smoothies will always be included with fresh fruit. As per your convenience, you can use whatever fruit you like when you prepare smoothie. Grapes, berries, cherries, mango, oranges, pears, kiwi, peaches or apricots are some fine examples.
